At Deep Blue Adventure, our goal is to provide you with the most comprehensive, complete training available. Deep Blue Adventure is a member of PADI, the Professional Association of Diving Instructors, the largest SCUBA training organization in the world. All our training is conducted 100% according to PADI standards using PADI materials and techniques. Our classes are taught on-site in our state-of-the-art multimedia classroom and the Five Points Washington pool.

At Deep Blue Adventure we believe in personal attention. We don't rush you from the classroom to the pool, trying to make your training fit into our schedule -- we recognize that different people learn at different rates and provide plenty of class time as well as pool time to make sure that each and every student has the opportunity to learn everything that is needed to be a safe diver. That's why we limit our beginner class sizes to no more that 8 students per session, with no more than 4 students per instructor and assistant.

Deep Blue Adventure strongly recommends that all divers carry dive accident insurance.  All beginning students are automatically enrolled in the Diver's Alert Network student program.  DAN's insurance covers the things your regular insurance may not, including evacuation from a foreign country, air ambulance and hyperbaric chamber treatments.   If you do not currently have insurance we recommend enrolling in DAN today.
