We just this evening learned that Delta has suspended its flights to Tobago as of late August, therefore the September trip appears to be canceled. More details will follow.

We have started training dives at Lake Strode and Haigh Quarry.
Conditions are still a little cool but with the proper suit on we have had no complaints about students getting cold. Tri-County Divers Scuba Club along with Coperas Creek Dive Team have replaced the lines(yellow) and mooring balls at Lake Strode.
As of Staurday May 24 Lake Strode was 60 degrees with about 20' Vis.
As of Sunday May 26 Haigh Quarry was around 60 in the shallow area and close to 50 at the Flamingo, vis was 25 to 30 foot.
For those Divemasters and Assistant Instructors looking to move up to instructor there will soon be an option available. We are working with a PADI Course Director and Bradley University to complete the final details for a summer IDC here in Peoria. More details in the July Newsletter or call Steve at the store.

The Jim Haigh Memorial Dive will be on July 20th this year. All proceeds this year will go to the
John G Shedd Aquarium Volunteer Divers Equipment Maintenance Fund. One other Haigh note they will closed on Tuesdays this year.
Haigh Quarry Tina also will be closed on July 4th this year.
We are starting to see some success with the new PADI e-learning program. The response from students has been very positive. Its a great way to complete the academics potion of the Open Water course if your schedule is full.

Deep Blue Adventure has on staff a number of PSI trained cylinder inspectors. We can show proof of training. REMEMBER, you are ultimately respponsible for your cylinders safe condition. Make sure its safe with a proper inspection.
PSI has advised us that the manufacturers recommend the burst disk on your tank valve be replaced at least once every five years. So for your safety and ours we will replacing those disks when the tank is brought in for hydro. The cost for the hydro will be going up a bit to cover this safety replacement.
